Six in the City provides taxi rides anywhere downtown by any cab company. The $6 taxi fare applies to a trip, pick-up and drop-off, anywhere within the Downtown District bounded by I-45, I-10 and US-59. Now with double the amount of cab stands downtown and the ability to hail a cab when you need it, we’re making those shorts trips easy and affordable. Six in the City only applies when cabs are hailed in person; it does not apply to rides booked online. Hail one down on the street, look for the taxi icon along the roadways, call a cab company and request front-door pick-up service, or go to the nearest hotel for a queue!
